242 years ago [ 88,389 days, ] the world took a giant step forward when America declared its independence and became a new nation, adopting a form of government that although not perfect, under the circumstances, it has been one of the best, in seeking the safety of the people against tyrannical and oppressive leadership.

Today, my deepest respect and admiration goes to all those, here and abroad, who continue to be wholeheartedly engaged in the same worthy endeavor that inspired the fathers of this great nation to risk their lives, invoking the best in us to remain faithful to the same journey and cause — freedom.

Freedom to think, learn, create, cultivate, innovate, grow, explore, discover, build, organize, structure, protect, worship, love, feel, express, prosper, … to try, fail and start again, succeed, … the freedom to search and to follow, individually or collectively, a true and meaningful purpose and path, Way, … the freedom to live.

“One nation under God with liberty and justice for all.” P. A.

“Where the Spirit of the [ Eternal King ] is, there is [ true ] freedom [ and righteousness.” ] Scriptures

Happy 4th of July! Enjoy tonight’s fireworks and commemorations while remembering the price paid for our freedom, for a better world.

God bless America.

Our cruel and unrelenting Enemy leaves us no choice but a brave resistance, or the most abject submission; this is all we can expect — We have therefore to resolve to conquer or die: Our own Country’s Honor, all call upon us for a vigorous and manly exertion, and if we now shamefully fail, we shall become infamous to the whole world. Let us therefore rely upon the goodness of the Cause, and the aid of the supreme Being, in whose hands Victory is, to animate and encourage us to great and noble Actions — The Eyes of all our Countrymen are now upon us, and we shall have their blessings, and praises, if happily we are the instruments of saving them from the Tyranny meditated against them. Let us therefore animate and encourage each other, and show the whole world, that a Freeman contending for Liberty on his own ground is superior to any slavish mercenary on earth. — George Washington
